Lip blush healing: how the colour evolves
Atelier Regard practical guide · Updated
Lip blush changes noticeably as it heals. Knowing the general pattern helps you judge the result at the right time. Exact timing varies from person to person, so no day-by-day schedule is given here.
Right after the appointment
Lips can feel tender or swollen at first, and the colour looks intense before it settles.
While healing
Light peeling is normal. Let it come away on its own. Lips tend to heal brighter at first, then soften.
Healed colour and the touch-up
Colour retention varies by person. The touch-up, included in the $595 price, is where tone is refined and the result evened out once the lips have healed.
Before you book
Mention any history of cold sores before booking, as well as medications, skin conditions, pregnancy, recent treatments or allergies. Yaelle will advise whether to proceed.
Aftercare
You receive written aftercare instructions at your appointment; follow those first. The atelier does not yet publish lip blush results; ask for examples during the free consultation.
