What is lip blush?
Lip blush is semi-permanent cosmetic tattooing that tints the lips with pigment. Definition and colour can make lips look a little fuller, but lip blush does not change their shape or feeling the way fillers do.
It can help with lip symmetry and uneven colour. Results typically last two to three years and fade gradually back toward your natural hue.

Honest expectations
Lips heal brighter at first, then soften. Colour retention varies by person, and some clients need the included touch-up to even the result. If you are prone to cold sores, mention it before booking.
Preparation, healing & aftercare
Before
- Tell Yaelle about medications, skin conditions, pregnancy, recent treatments or allergies before booking — she will advise whether to proceed.
- Bring reference photos of looks you like; the final design is adapted to your face.
- Mention any history of cold sores before booking.
Healing
- Lips can feel tender or swollen at first and the colour looks intense before it settles.
- Light peeling is normal while healing.
Aftercare
- You receive written aftercare instructions at your appointment — follow those first.
- Typical topics: keeping the area clean and dry, avoiding picking, and limiting sun, sweat, saunas and swimming while healing.
- Ask about sun protection for long-term colour.
