What is microblading?
Microblading is a semi-permanent technique where very fine strokes are made in the surface of the skin and pigment is placed to replicate individual brow hairs.
Results can last from six to eighteen months, depending on pigment colour, skin type and lifestyle. A touch-up six to eight weeks after the first session refines shape and colour.

Honest expectations
Healed results vary from person to person. Oily skin, sun exposure, skincare and how your skin holds pigment all influence crispness and longevity. Some clients are better suited to powder or combo brows — Yaelle will tell you candidly at consultation.
Preparation, healing & aftercare
Before
- Arrive with clean skin and no makeup on the treated area.
- Tell Yaelle about medications, skin conditions, pregnancy, recent treatments or allergies before booking — she will advise whether to proceed.
- Bring reference photos of looks you like; the final design is adapted to your face.
Healing
- The colour looks stronger in the first days, then softens as the skin heals.
- Light flaking is a normal part of healing; let it come away on its own.
- Healed colour is assessed at the touch-up, where shape and tone are refined.
Aftercare
- You receive written aftercare instructions at your appointment — follow those first.
- Typical topics: keeping the area clean and dry, avoiding picking, and limiting sun, sweat, saunas and swimming while healing.
- Ask about sun protection for long-term colour.
